    I just picked this baby up at the local Disabled Vet's thrift shop! Didnt know what it was till i got home and did some research. Its the newer USN/USMC Multi-Climate Protection System MCPS Nomex Polartec Fleece Vest. Its a new Fire Resistant Polartec/Gortex layer system in use by USN and USMC aircrew members! I think the USAF may be using it too now. I live right down the road from NAS Oceana which is the largest East Coast air base with 18 squadrons and ive NEVER seen a pilot wearing this gear! So it must be rare or just issue "in-country". Wish i could have found the Gortex top layer jacket or pants!!

    VERY nice, I had not seen this before. Looks spiffy in an ugly foliage green kinda way.

    Check out the outer layer Gortex Jacket and Pants! They look a lot like a TAD type jacket! I think i MAY have seen the outer jackets before at NAS Oceana. In fact i think they had one of the pieces of the system at the base thrift shop! I wasnt into collecting/reselling at that time so i passed on it. Now im kicking my self!!
