Jigsaw Para Smock-Date Unknown.

A really great find!

The shape or cut is a first for me, though.

I have a smock in the same denim-type fabric, dated 1969, with the same constellation of a half zipper, beaver tail and pockets. Look at my pictures in the 1950's smock thread (kindly posted by Koalorka)

But my smock has slanted lower pockets, where yours has the top ones slanted. So I recon it is a late 60's to mid 70's Belgian smock you've got there.

Just checked your pics and mine is indeed different in many ways.

Will have a good look on the inside to see if there are any marks/stamps etc and post more pics later.

There are many variants throughout the years, often with minimal changes from one to the other. I have one dated 1973 and another dated 1978 that appear to match this one's features. The thing is I don't keep duplicates so I'm not sure why I have both. There must be some subtle difference somewhere I'm not seeing right off
