Im assuming the clip on the right hand ammo pouch is for the bayonet scabbard?

Apparently so.
No frog was thought neccesary at the time,the bayonet in plastic scabbard just clipped directly to the side of the pouch??
Will have to dig out my bayonet to try and my early RG mags to fill the pouches up.

Anyone got any idea what the full set up is of this early stuff?
About a month ago there was a UK Ebay seller selling the following trials PLCE(all seperately)-pair ammo pouches,daysack yoke,1st patt belt,2nd patt belt.
All won by another UK Ebayer(not myself i must add!!)
