Ye ... something like the padding on the backpack shoulder harness. of course thinner .

Air Mesh on shoulders is to dissipate weight of armour and or packs,
its also developed as a bit of a signature,
we developed this with an Aussie Unit along with pants and other pieces

that is from early trials, next phase changed pocket, neck back of shoulders etc,
that bfabric is similar to UK UBACS
they preferrred Merino Smart wool
and Multicam fabric for the body,
we have some of the Generation previous to this on ebay under PLATYPUS44 with nomex and a US Army fabric like under armour but Flame Retardant, only thing was it ripped easliy
these cost $180 each to build , we are taking a hit on these and started bidding very low at 40 quid , good luck
