From what i can gather these were made by ADIDAS and were a mix of 2 of their popular trainers of the time-the SPEZIALE and the SAMBA.
For anyone into their trainers in my opinion the SAMBA is the best trainer ever invented(currently on a blue sued pair).
These were so popular again apparently that ADIDAS(no idea when) re made them for the leisure market with only minor changes.
