My cousin has a set in Spain he showed them to me and they look like them from the late 90s. I never understood why Gaiters are that colour or other colours? If Military issue they should be in "White" as far as i'm concern.

Why just white as they are used not only in snow but very handy in long wet grass,mud etc.
