That's far too many smocks for any one person! Willing to trade any of those off?

Re: What the heck , my para smocks
I do have an issue latest design made in china smocks which is garbage.
Thin cloth, feels like the failed s94 stuff
Cloth is also very dark printed and don't work as a camo pattern
Zip jams constantly
Poppers come break in two
No stiffener in the material behind the zip so it gets caught in the zips teeth.
Terrible jacket made to be thrown away and made on a budget.

Yes and no. Sad story
The smock was sold to me with the badges shown. The jacket arrived minus the patches and whoever removed them tore the jacket too by removing patches, it looked a right dogs dinner.
So after a few email and photos the seller provided me pictures of what should be on the jacket which I then replaced. The badges are correct to the original owner and awarded to the original owner but not the original ones. The only thing that differs is the position of the DZ which had to go over the hole in jackets arm. So it's a little low to where it should be.
The jacket is unissued to worn very light condition, unwashed etc... I know badges stand out a little but that's cos they are brand new and the jacket maybe 30 year old.

Yeah will do it in the morning. It's a horrid jacket.
I got it with the bright 3 para cpl jacket for £10 and I wouldn't have given 10p.
It's printed on some yellow tint cloth you can about see through so I'm guessing the wind will cut through it like crazy. It really reminds me of the yellow autum based seasonal DPM stuff on the 94 farce issue. So I wear it for playing around in, taking little, one to football or on the park and the likes.

The Lads call em 'Paki' Smocks (no offence) because they are made in Pakistan and are the worst smock ever produced in the British Army, load of crap.

Re: What the heck , my para smocks
Great collection of smocks! Except for the 4 color desert. That's crap and you should send it to me for proper disposal
I just got one of the Chinese made smocks. The tag on the neck is in the usual Chinese bright green plastic, which is a dead giveaway. Having only one of these, and not wearing it myself, I can't speak to the overall quality.
What timeframe are the Chinese made smocks from?
Steve

Lol
The tags in all my jackets are cotton type not the later plastic types. The latest issue one is time frame of maybe the last few years and corresponds with the uniform colours seen since about 2004 period.
All the brass stuff is brass plated or even coloured not true brass like vintage stuff, reverse the snaps and inside the little hole it's silver.
Budget smock all the way.
