Re: Need Help to ID patches
You have some very nice Norwegian patches here and it's a good mix of patches from the Air Force, Navy and Army. I'll dig into it and see what I can do, but first of all there are a couple of them that are very rare. The winged dragon with flippers belongs to the Navy Marinejeger Command and the winged dagger belongs to the Army Jeger Command, so you have a couple of very nice patches here.

Re: Need Help to ID patches
Thanks NorBn, a friend of mine has returned from a recent exercise in Norway and brought these back for me.

Re: Need Help to ID patches
Your friend did a very good job bringing these patches back to you (from the Cold Responce exercise held not long ago?), they are very nice and as I said a couple of them are very rare as well. I believe the Navy marinejeger Cmd and Army AB Jeger Cmd patches have been sold for as much as 100 Euros on a Norwegian online auction not long ago. I have tried to give the units English names, but if there is something you are wondering please ask. I guess my English is not that good, but I'll give it a try:
1. RNoAF 137th Air Wing based at Rygge Airstation
2. Same as #1
3. Navy, Guard and Security, Trondenes and Ramsund
4. RNoAF, I guess the text on the patch explains it all, these are from 2010/ 2011
5. Navy, Marinejeger Cmd, Ramsund. Also found in a colured variation, rare.
6. Army, AB Jeger Cmd. Also found in a coloured and desert subdued variation, rare.
7. Armed Forces School for Intelligence and Security, new in 2012
8. Army, 6th Division
9. Armed Forces Operational HQ
10. Army Command, also found in coloured and desert subdued variation
11. Navy, Ramsund Base
12. I’m not sure how to translate the name of this unit, but it has something to do with computer, network
and information structure in the Norwegian Armed Forces.

Re: Need Help to ID patches
Wow NorBn, thanks for the great reply. Yes, it was from the Cold Response 2012 exercise.
Does the MJK and HJK have metal insignia also?

Re: Need Help to ID patches
Yes they also have metal insignia, you can see some of them in these threads on the forum:
https://iacmc.forumotion.com/t1085-new-norwegian-navy-badges-and-patches
https://iacmc.forumotion.com/t3144-norwegian-cloth-and-metal-badges
This web page has a lot of Norwegian badges and patches, his collection is superb. Some of the text is in Norwegian, but some is in English and you should be able to navigate around the site without too much trouble:
http://home.online.no/~hyttervi/homepage_patches/index.htm
The section with a few MJK and FSK items can be found when following the links to "Norway", "Army", "Official From ca 2002" and then "HJK/FSK-MJK-KJK"
For his great collection of parawings go to "Norway", "Wings & Insignia" and then "Para Wings: Army, Navy & Air Force"

Re: Need Help to ID patches
Glad to help and thank you for showing the patches, I have none of them in my own collection.
