    camouflages ID Empty camouflages ID

Post by elsasser Tue Apr 17, 2012 9:13 am

    Hello,

I need your help to identify some camouflages.
All those uniforms are issued from the balkans war and especially from serbs troops. A lot of foreign camouflage canvas was used to make uniforms for local militias.

This first overall camouflage looks like russian TTsKO pattern :

    camouflages ID 00220

    camouflages ID 00127

    Another camouflage :

    camouflages ID 00323

    camouflages ID 00425

Pants and jacket in a kind of woodland pattern :

    camouflages ID 905842007

    camouflages ID 00420

    camouflages ID 00519

Shirt in tiger pattern, maybe greek :

    camouflages ID 00619

    camouflages ID 00718

    Thank's

    Hello,

No label except sometimes the label for the size.
All those uniforms are serbs, certainly issue from little manufacture (except the overall which was manufactured in large quantities) for serbs troops. It explains why there isn't any label. Most of the camouflages used to make those uniforms comes from foreign countries (except maybe the camouflage of the shirt, it is maybe just a variation of JNA tiger pattern (?) but it looks close of one of the greek tiger pattern). I would like to know the origin of those camouflages.

Here another camouflage to identify, it is the hood of a serbian local made overall for VRS (bosnian serb army). The camouflage looks close of an irish prototype camouflage of the 80s.

    camouflages ID 00318

    Thank's for your help!

That orangeish woodland set its probably a chinese commercial. They do like to save on velcro as in those pockets Laughing

    Best regards

Russians also close their sleeve pockets this way... Smile

The TTsKOish coverall looks really nice, did you already compare the pattern to a "normal" TTsKO one?

Here the little sister of the serb woodland jacket, it's exactly the same but in tiger camouflage :

    camouflages ID Jacket11

I've already compare the overall with TTsKO and variants but I haven't found the same coloration. No

I've seen that TTsKO coverall worn by Serb militias in several period military magazines. I'd love to know more about its origin myself.

But the pattern is a match?

I'm pretty sure that I've seen such a TTsKO-coloration already, but I think it wasn't a Russian but an Ukrainian uniform.
