I may be wrong, cause I'm not to good with uniforms (I specialize in medals and pins etc.) but I believe this uniform belongs to the 12th infantry MP division

Home Guard should have khaki pips but as a ww1 vet he could have used infantry pips as his own personal preference. The omly thing that would put me off is the fraying of the insignia, especially on an officers BD. Still, a very nice jacket.

All the patches/insignia look legit but who can tell if theyre original to the tunic,thats the million dollar question 
As for the fraying,well they are(if originals) 70 years old and the printed insignia was notorious for fraying as it has no edge as such.

All the stitching looks good (thick cotton thread) and the fraying was probably due to not following instructions (edges were folded under to stop fraying) I have not seen that pattern of titles before but there are so many variations. A nice BD, you did well to get it, i would like it in my collection. :-D
