I own a pair of these, one each dated 1944 and 1945. This is the 1945 dated example. If anyone has a photograph of these camouflaged garments ever being used in WWII, I would be curious to see it.

Re: British Camouflage Tank Suit
I don't have any handy, but there are pics of them in various books lying about my house. IIRC they were from the push into Germany. As far as I know the Danes used some of these post war.

Re: British Camouflage Tank Suit
1944,very interesting as the general opinion is that they were made late war 1945 and not used during WW2 only post war.
Very, very nice, where, how did you manage not only to find one but 2 of the dammn things and in mint/unissued condition???

Camouflaged Tank Suits
When I bought them in Canada in the mid-1980s there was not the interest in them like what was being shown in the UK/Europe at that time.

I have one too. Nearly mint condition, except for one tear. I bought it in the earlier days of eBay (2004) when the USD meant something and not as much competition for things. I'm guessing $100 + $15 shipping isn't what it would go for today

Re: British Camouflage Tank Suit
Oh, about the pictures. In my mind's eye I see a vehicle commander in an open hatched armored car of some sort. The terrain is northern Germany, which would mean 1945. I suppose it could also be an immediate post war pic, but I doubt it.
Unfortunately I have NO idea what book this is in. I have a couple of suspects, however my books are all over the place since my uniform collection displaced my bookshelves.

Re: British Camouflage Tank Suit
No caption, but a friends dad was 2nd SAS in WWII, from his collection, apparantly he did some research on the two chaps, one was German and the other French (I think) and both served in the Legion before the SAS. Operation Archway, Germany, 1945.
We think its a tank suit, theres no hood visible, he's getting a better copy soon.
