Soviet MiG Pilot Helmet

Went on a surplus escapade yesterday and found this. I love collecting Soviet and Russian gear, and also have an interest in their aircraft. Not sure of the exact designation for this helmet though. But the shop owner gave me a military discount and threw in the styrofoam display head! Enjoy!

Nice one Ben, I bet even with your discount it must have set you back a few bucks, I am amazed how much money pilots helmets fetch..way out of my spending power on one item at least!!!

It was a bit expensive, but I did some quick research and found it was offered at a decent price. And it's not every day Soviet flyer's kit shows up here in the States.


Now I just have to resist the urge to buy anything else for a bit, to recoup my expenditures. Which for someone like me is hard when you live on a military base and are surrounded by surplus shops and kit galore for miles and miles around.
