I have one too, acquired more than 20 years ago. Mine had an additional paper sticker indicating that it had been manufactured by Compton Webb Ltd. The colours look very Omani but I don't think it is. All I can put it down to is a trial item for a prospective military contract ... but to whom??

I saw a pile of these in Silverman's in London about 20 years ago. All the same size as your's. Too small for me so I did not buy one-regrets. Now I would buy and alter. They were Omani.

Where'd you find it? I've wanted a set of the Omani stuff ever since I got into DPM kit, but haven't turned up anything.
