Swedish uniform sizing help needed. Empty Swedish uniform sizing help needed.

Hi I've been struggling with buying a pair of trousers or jacket in Swedish M90 for a while now as every seller seems to list these sizing differently.

Two examples I recently saw a 170/75 size trousers that said they are a 38 inch waist while another seller said his 170/85 were 36 inch.....

If anyone can help with more detailed measurements it's be really helpful so I know what ones to buy.

For myself I'm after trousers of a 34" waist with a short leg (27-28") and the jacket of a 38/40" for a 5'5" person. The one problem I have is long arms Laughing short jackets for my height are always too short in the arm.

    Cheers,

    Matt.

170/75 = 170cm Height (your height from head to foot, if 170 then it will be for you if your height is between 165cm and 175cm); 75cm waist (if 75 then it will be for you if your waist is between 70cm and 80cm
170/85 = 170cm Height (your height from head to foot); 85cm waist

Swedish uniforms should have a picture in them showing the size to make it easy...

Sorry should have made this a bit clearer. The Swedish sizing goes by kg of a persons weight ie: 170 height and 75kg weight.

It's the weight that's been throwing me I need to get sizes in confirmed inches as they don't tally up exactly with weight it seems.

Nope, it should be height in cm's and bodyweight in kilos.
And the system should allow for +5 or -5 kilos play, not so much in height where sleeve or trouserleg length seem more accurate.

Interesting, I always thought it was chest or waist size not weight in KGs... Learn something new everyday... Very Happy

    Hello!
The Swedes use colour schemes for the height, while the weight is variable..
I know that my personal colour is blue, and it's easy for choosing and searces, however the Swedish camou is extremely rare.

The colour labels vary from the smallest violet one, to the biggest one, black.

Here are the examples of the Swedish size labels (mind different weight shown on the labels):
