Desert MARPAT Sniper Experimental Prototype Pants

Anyone have any background info on these MARPAT pants? From what i understand they were a MARSOC prototype/experimental item made for snipers but they didnt "pass the test". The size is handwritten on what looks like a "stock" size tag that was sewn backwards to provide a place to write the size. Anyone have any pics of these actually being used?

Hard to tell but are these the pants? The coyote brown patches look to be the same and i dont know of any other AOR/MARPAT pants in this style....

Can't see them being sniper pants. There's pockets on the front of the thigh !! Nor would the material be strong enough where reinforced. That's what gillie suits are for ... pants with cloth encased runnber pads all along the thigh.

True makes sense. Just going off other info ive heard from people. From what ive heard was that Bulldog Tactical made them (they also made some of the Army Mirage uniforms). I have also heard these were FROG pants but there is noting showing that. No FROG patch and no materials tag. Guess the only way is to light them on fire lol

Try and light it on fire, then you'll know if its frog.

As far as that Delta Force pic up there its been considered a Crye Combat pant that's been modified.
