6 Color Desert parka...

Hey guys...not sure about this. I know what the tag says, but I've never run across one of these or even heard about one before.
A Six color day desert parka...for camouflage purposes?
Commercial?
The manufacturer is still around, and makes parks, parka liners etc. as an authorized contractor.

Oh, and it's on the bay, but not mine and not affiliated with seller.

Agreed , I would pay good money for the parka, if it was on UK ebay I would be slapping down some of my hard earned cash.

I've not seen one like this before, maybe it was a DoD order that never came to light Cool

I have a sneaky feeling the cloth used on this isn't issue because of the show through of the print. It reminds me of the SOF ( soldier of fortune ) stuff sold in the 90's made by MSI and Rothco.

It's a legit contractor at least. My guess is they were making the night parkas and got ahold of some cheap cloth and knocked these out, probably for the commercial market. But maybe it was a unit purchase of some sort, either actual or speculative.
