Unknow tall black leather boots

Ok,gentlemen if anyone knows what these bad boys are I would be grateful if you could educate me.Their build reminds me of the old U.S 1960s combat boots but these are ridiculously tall and I could not find anything like them in my research.

They look like steel toed logger's boots.

The soles remind me of the soles on USN flight boots, but the heel looks like the heels on
logging boots.

I believe ANSI , etc. refers to safety ( steel toe ) standards, but dont think they are mIlitary issue.

That could very well be.I am not even sure if they are military,even though I bought them from a surplus store.Thanks Rip.I have a new avenue to explore on my quest.

So, I am sitting in my room just starring at these things when I notice on the sole right in the middle are the words BILTRITE.Ha, ha I HAVE BEEN DUPED!They are linemen boots .Case closed lol Cool boots none the less.

Biltrite soled shoes for the military. I have dress shoes and a pair of boots with biltrite soles around here somewhere.

And the case is opened again lol.I think it is commercial because I have never seen any U.S military personal wearing boots like these but I am hardly an expert.

I think those are just *military* linesman's boots. Basically, really tall safety boots.
Those are certainly US mil soles, or copies thereof.

I did a double take the other day when I saw a guy wearing these in sage green with his ABUs! I had never seen them before.

I was think the other day maybe they were air force in origin.
