Picked up the Rifles wings many years ago...Mainly because of the very cool colors...

Lancers Militaria was the source. They are still around.....

Do not have many Brit wings, or insignia, but I am going to look into my big box of insignia to see what else Brit I may have..

    Hey G,

Well, you may not believe this, but I was about to photograph the Rifles wings and a few other patches in the yard ( photos do look better when taken outdoors ) when a gust of wind took them for a ride. affraid

Found all except the Rifles wings, which are now " gone with the wind "...

Hopefully, they may turn up during the spring cleanup..Else I may have to start looking for  new ones.

    Did photograph the following...

The green on maize wings are actually from the old Light Infantry regiment, which has now been absorbed by the Rifles. The Royal Green Jackets, which was previously Britain's rifle regiment, used black wings on a rifle green background. The new Rifles regiment, which absorbed both the Light Infantry and the RJG in 2007, now use the RJG pattern.

    Hope that helps.
