Re: Brazilian winter parka
hey
This is the current Brazilian army parka, it was introduced around 1980's, in olive green colour.
It was highly influenced by the M-65 jacket.
this link leads to the official army Campaign Jacket Specifications.

It's in Portuguese, but the images are a good reference

I hope I could help

Re: Brazilian winter parka
Greetings everyone,
I'm new here but I know this forum for quite a while.
I was searching for informations about other stuff but landed here and recognized the parka
So let me show the parka of my people
Beside the fact I'm brazilian and this is the only original piece I got from our forces...
I don't have further info too, I guess it's an early model with old OG in case spec. But it seems it have the same design (3 pockets, 2 outside 1 in side)
The label says DIANA (in the back) PAOLUCCI and it's a M size
It came with some markings. CIA 12 I strongly suspect comes from Company(Companhia in Portugues) 12th
So that's it.
Unfortunately it's doesn't fit me very well, I'm 5,9ft and it's a little short in the arms. (So I'm open for deals )
It's not mint condition but the patina I believe it's very good for a jacket I believe must have about 30 years.
Thansk !

Re: Brazilian winter parka
Very interesting, I've never seen the olive ones before.
I also purchased one of the Sportsman Guide's ones, I believe they were from a batch of factory seconds. The one I received is missing some cuff buttons.
