Very nice uniforms! The seller on eBay I was planning to get one of these from has since closed their account and I haven't really looked since... I really like the blue digital stuff.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
I've won two Chinese digital camo uniforms on eBay (one with woodland colors and one with the gray included). In both cases, I got them from the seller, honesty-honesty. He got the sizes I asked for, based on the measurements I gave him. I would have no qualms about doing business with him, again. He (honesty-honesty) is actively selling Chinese camo, as of this date.

The Pic provided by Philip
indicated PLA 07 BDU real stuff with true armystuff issued marking
First Left column is PLA troop No.(PLA troop size as regiment or above, have the troop no. Mostly 5 digital nos. 76158 is troop no.) So the BDU indicated directly used by PLA troop no.76158) The marking also included the blood type, production date, Troop No. If the BDU produced in mass production with PLA factory NO. Mostly PLA factories with four digital nos. started with 3502 or 3503, 3521, etc...

One thing can check with the BDU true copy or not by jacket sleeve mouth having the white color printed serial no.

Here i also show the counterfeit one from E bay
The marking is indicated the BDU production by Private company, not armystuff
Showing the Company Jun Keung Co. not related to any PLA factory. Just cheat somebody who doesn't know any Chinese Charactors.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
That is very useful information about the tags. Are none of the commercial versions using the camo buttons? I have assumed this for a long time now, but am worried that eventually this will not be a safe indicator either.
Thanks!

That's interesting. So the army stamps have a standard format and anything that deviates is a copy?

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
We urge the Mainland Chinese sellers/collectors they should comply with international standard at eBay to be honest labelling their items into real or reproduction. Just let the buyers to make their decision. Right now their existing practices are really bad, provided with false informations on purpose in order to gain the maximum profit. If they continue doing this, the buyers would lose confidence in international market as a result. Finally Ebay is becoming an outlet for Chinese selling fake or countfeit products. The Chinese armystuff is "cheaply made". Here i just want to raise their concerns about that.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
Interesting videos! Thanks for posting them.
Who is the primary market for these uniforms? The camouflage ones I can see having international appeal, but dress shirts, pants, hats, etc... it doesn't seem like a big market. Are soldiers buying the fake items for less money?

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
For mainly internal market as the news exposed a number of people wearing 07 uniforms to cheat people millions dollars although 2009 New Regulation about 07 Army uniforms applied. This is not probably happened in Western World. PLA really enjoy a lot of privileges than other classes in CHinese Society. The small private factory each year earns big money as they were manufacturing fake uniforms. Yes some internet selllers would get the items from them for sales. The ordinary soldiers they don't need to buy anything from them. The PLA forces have sufficient supply.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
That is interesting! I never would have guessed that. Aren't the penalties for impersonating a member of the PLA serious?
What can you tell me about these stamps? I am sure they are all commercial uniforms.
Thanks!

The penality is quite severe, but the bad guys don't be afraid of that penality just three years or above imprisonment. They can "reward" as million of dollars. Why not.
First Pic and Second pic The marking is obscure not clear, probably not the true copy . The true ones should be same as the above pics indicated. 3507 is PLA Factory where mostly manufacturing the textile clothing for PLA .2006 is production year. ZB Means in English Army Equips.
Third one is 3520 marking chop. If PLA coats BDUs with this marking, is counterfeit copy stuff. Because this factory is specializing in shoe, sandals making, they never make any clothes indeed. PLA factories in certain extent are exercising the division of labour and production. Only some very big factories are mis. production all kinds of products. Like factories 3521,3502,3503 etc.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
Very interesting information. Thank you!
The stamps are taken from uniforms which are not Type 07. Are the stamps from earlier uniforms the same? Is there any reason to think the uniforms made by 3507 might be PLA issue? I assume "no".
The first stamp is from a green Flecktarn uniform. I have never seen a real uniform like this in person so I have nothing to compare against. I assume the one I have is not a real uniform.
Thanks!

The stamps on Bdus of 07 and earliers uniforms there is no real big difference. We can't say the bdu from PLA #3507 factory is 100% true. Generally speaking how we justify the real combat bdus by overall cutting, design, materials(effectiveness in hiding of real battle ground). Some private factories they misuse the PLA factories stamp without their authorization. Apparently the touch hand feel of real bdus are soft and comfortable. In China the counterfeit, copy bdus coz the private factories want to minimize the cost, they apply low standard of material. They become less effective or even useless in real battle ground as Senior PLA Officers said. Especially the textile and combination of Camos.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
Here I show some of my 07 bdu's stamps.
Normally you will see a lot of PLA 07 BDU stamping 3502 Factory no. or 3503. Because the two major Mis. PLA factories have got the PLA army BDUs contract.
Another One
This is Army issued stamp for 07 Camoflage uniforms. The First left column is troop no. , the second left is name , the third column is size measurement, The first right is blood type. The Second is Troop no.66093. The PLA troops the regiment or above they have indiviual troop no. for the unit. Started with five digital nos.66xxx to 76xxx mostly they are army ground forces, started with 933xx to 97xxx they are mainly Air force and Navy. The size of army of course is biggest than air force and navy. Their five digital nos. is more than Air force and Navy. The third right is the production date. March,2008

If you are careful enough, the true 07 camoflage uniform at the sleeve mouth or other hidden places with blue/white stamp seal no. xxxxxxxxx. Why has the serial no. for the PLA control and careful calculation of stock. Please see the below pics for reference.

With some supplementary informations,i extract some pics from the website :Camowhore. You can see very clearly the white print nos stamped on the geniune Chinese PLA BDU.
Right now in Ebay market it seems to have many repro. reversible camoflage uniforms. As they are copy reproduction, there is no need to control the stock. We found they did not have any white printed stamps on the camoflage uniform. The price is cheaper than the geniune ones.
