Picked this up about a year ago. It is from the 1987 ABC tv miniseries "Amerika" which starred Kris Kristofferson. I was in grad school at that time, so I never saw it, does anyone remember the show?

I remember it existing, but never saw it. A book version of it popped up in our summer camp for a little while, but for understandable reasons it didn't make the cut and stay on the shelf like Asimov, Heinlein, Fleming, and others
