Latest PECOC disposals batch

Latest pattern to come out of disposals! There were a fair few of these available, i'm sure i'm not the only one in IACMC to grab one, i have the matching trousers in the post and im hoping theyre in the bag too! I noted a few differences below.









Padded sleves, but with a velcro opening and a break in the stitching in place of drainage holes



A selection of arm pockets, on this garment theyre near identical to the PCS ones, but still with the wonky velcro.



On the collar the tab is far longer

Bet me to it George... mine landed today, 160/96 & 170/96 shirt, trousers are enroute also!! Great bag to be fair as thought they made the 'Arid' pattern in small numbers, obviously not! I was very surprised to get them brand new in the packet. To get something from the PECOC programme in a bag, un issued?! Never seen it before!!!! I contacted 'British Military Surplus' when I saw the shirts on Friday, they said they had trousers but that was it at the moment. When I put my order in for trousers I asked if there was any Smocks/UBACS and they said no but a classic quote as usual, we don't know what we get from day to day...so, keep looking as again more PECOC items seem to be surfacing!!!!

We need to put our collective heads together and make sense of these trials. Every time I look around it seems there's a different variant, either color or cut. One of the most diverse trials I think I've ever seen.

Lee, I knew you wouldnt be far behind me! About the bag i couldnt agree more i was gobsmacked! A bag and a label and everything its like a collectors dream! Typical response from disposals though! I think we might be in with a chance of a few smocks this time, it looks like this was a big batch and larger trials especially because the design is so close to a PCS shirt now.

Steve, I agree there are so many unknown patterns, someone somewhere must have documents about the trials, but its still all so secretive?

Happy to pull all my bits together and show in one place?! Think it's a good idea Steve, it would form a review of PECOC...I do think they are some other items out there which we have not seen yet... I suppose we only will when somebody decides they are surplus. Interestingly enough I bet some of the guys trialling the kit also kept pieces (a contact who I got my RAF PCS pieces from said they got issued but did not sign for it...just wanted feedback?!)

George I do hope some UBACS and Smock go on the the site as the Windproof I have is far far too big for me!!

Trousers have come bagged as well

I tried to get some today but guy I spoke to didn't no they had them , told couldn't sent to non uk country that would be Scotland for
F sake .

Hi Dee, if you access to eBay, type in PECOC COMBAT TROUSERS, this will bring the trousers up, upon checking they still have 80/80 and 75/92 in sizes. Looks like all the shirts have gone.

The weave of the above is cotton where the latest batch is more of a synthetic material. I wonder if the garments in the above link were the trials pieces and these were the working batch which was issued on trials?!?!

Hi Camo fiend, this new batch is different in a few ways to the batch was released a couple of years we got and I think Gulf secured a set. The old batch (which we have) is cotton based ripstop, large knee pads, different Velcro on the arms and different PECOC label to this new batch. It looks like the new batch is well made but material is synthetic and was part of a large purchase order possibly..

Well worth a purchase though if you ask me...

Steve mentioned above to start a thread on PECOC with all the colour variations to track what's been released, I haved taken pics of the different colour variations I have and will start a thread tonight, so if you have any odd PECOC bits, let's add them to one thread and everybody can see them...
