My first Russian piece.

Took long enough, but I finally have a Russian/Soviet pattern in my collection.

I can definitely see why collectors  would want every variation of this pattern..

Now you DEFINITELY need the first version, with pistol holster, early and late colour batches of each, and might as well get the whole lineage of the airborne series uniforms which started with the OKZK-D NBC costume for airborne forces issued in the 70s...

I bet S. will need an own rack for russian/soviet stuff soon. Come to the dark side!

I could go nuts on the VDV alone...

this set is a beauty Sal, nice coloration indeed and yes Alex is right, your Russian stuff collection is growing nicely.

Yes, the mustard color is hard to resist isn't it? Told myself I wouldn't get any more VSR, but I suppose that doesn't count the Winter Mustard VSR set that finally arrived after 3 months!

ohh Alex, one shouldn't do that ... 'Mustard' is a keeper ... all other colorations such as 'green-ish', 'brown-ish', grey-ish tones etc. are rather easy to find, but mustard is not that easy ...
