    Found this 2001 Flora recently.

Nice big size and vibrant colors for a nearly 20 year old garment.  Have not seen exposed buttons on arm pocket flap before.

Those are not very common with the exposed buttons. Very nice find!

    Thanks Alex,

    I do like Flora pattern.

This jacket is in really good shape and has all the original buttons.

this is a very nice find Sal! the ones with exposed sleeve pocket buttons are very rare. i am not sure for whom or what they were made for, though? it is defo not for general army usage. what strikes me, too is the stamp with washing instructions. it shows hand wash only. this is strange, all usually army and airborne items are made for 60 degrees machine washing.

the colours are nice. again very interesting find.

Thanks for the good info Alex,

I knew velcro square are usually used on Flora shoulder pockets; almost declined to pick this up.
    Glad I grabbed it.

You did the right thing in picking it up Sal. It is always very worth to have something unusal in ones collection.

Agree with above; too nice to pass up! On another note: I remember that I have a TTskO set that has the buttoned arm pockets as opposed to the velcro. I really wonder why that was done?

Here is a recent arrival.  Well worn and faded to the point that markings are completely gone..
