Reason Im asking is have just had delivered a set-jkt,trs and hat bought on Ebay, poor pic and description but price was right so took a gamble not knowing what on earth they were but was very nicely surprised when they arrived but knowing nothing about these was wondering if they are repros as material seems quite thin and not that well made.

Jkt as 4 pockets with pop studs with a zipped pocket by the side of the left hand breast pocket. On the left shoulder is a black on green ARMADA patch.

    Label to neck reads--

    Tam. 54
    Nom.Dolman Camuflado
    Nap.8405-NI-010.3487
    Proc.Aq.Req.5g028.

Trousers have 2 slash hip pockets and 2 cargo pockets with a single central velcro closure.
Inner pockets are lined in a stripey pyjama looking material.

    Label to inside reads--

    ALGODAO
    48
    FABRICADO EM PORTUGAL

    With washing instructions to rear.

Swallow Tail cap with small elasticated section to each side.

All the label has is 100% ALGODAO and washing instructions to rear.

Wish I could post pics up but cannot so anny comments or help would be great.

    Thanks

    Greetings,

Just basing myself on our description my guess is that the jacket is authentic and belongs to the last ones made for the Portuguese Marines (most probably around 2009). The trousers are a civy copy made for hunters and the cap is also a civy cop made for hunters.

To be sure I would need pictures of it. Hope this will help!

Could this be one of the items made for the commercial market using surplus cloth after the colonial wars?

The tag appears to be in French.  I bought it from a French seller.

It is very similar to the many Portuguese made hunter jackets sold in the 80's and early 90's. There are some features from the m/964 combat jacket but simplified and the collar is different.
