And for some reason the rarest British things I find are all from here in Holland.
I bought this helmet just to get the cover, which officially shouldn't be on this helmet type, though I've seen other people encountering them on turtle helmets too, soldier's ingenuity I guess.
And judging by the wearpattern it's been used on the helmet for quite a while.
It's an early type of Mk6 cover with just 2 elastic bands, only seen on early ones, and according to the contractcode it should be from 1982 or 1983.
The helmet itself was optional for me, I hope to find a really early Mk6 sometime, and then this cover will be put on that, and the liner might go to another of my British helmets which has a broken liner in it.
No idea what the yellow paint or the number 33 on the shell should signify.
Still, I might just keep it together as an original used set.

And more Osprey stuff.
First 2 UGL 40mm pouches, which seem to be part of the same series as the legpanel and triple magpouch, as they also have weird MOLLE arrangement on the back.
The Desert Buff isn't British, it just arrived on the same day.
Then a field pack, which is at least used as a gasmask carrier, not sure what other purpose it would have.
And a set of Osprey assault pouches, much better than the normal pouches of the Osprey vest set, consisting of 4 double magazine pouches, 3 single and 2 grenade pouches.

Some more stuff from yesterday.
First mostly Osprey pouches, 1 for a knife/torch, 2 medical pouches of which 1 for beltmounting and the other is modular with an added beltloop, a late type holster,
a double magpouch and a velcro ranktab.
Then a PLCE magpouch for the GPMG, and an unknown pouch, maybe somethign commercial?
A Jungle Green shirt in Aertex fabric. Tag is completely faded, but most likely Borneo era.
Then DDPM pants and an extra PLCE belt I need for a loadout.
A DDPM small backpack cover and a Mockingbird IR strobe.
And I got this Sparse DDPM uniform, which I already had one of, but I couldn't leave it, it'll be for trade/sale.

The sparse DPM is the coolest I think.

Yes it's quite a nice find for a random Dutch dump-store visit. I already have another set I like more though, I just bought this to at least try to get it out of the pile of random UK gear and to a collector that knows what it is and appreciates it.
Here's my other set, I also have an armor but no good pics of it.

Another day another package, and a lot of stuff in it.
This time it's an Osprey Mk4 armor cover with 23 pouches and loads of other accesories.
First off is the vest itself with the 2 velcro blanking panels.
Then the plate covers, not sure why these exist when the plates are already inside the vest.
Then 3 types of collars, mid height, full height and the patrol collar.
Then the brassards and the extra pad covering the rear gap.
3 Side plate pouches (I was supposed to get just 2) and a front ops panel.
A load of various straps, for attaching things like a camelbak and rankslide, and also a 1-point sling.
Then the pouches, 3 open-top SA80 single magpouches, 3 regular single magpouches, 3 regular double magpouches and a sharpshooter magpouch,
not sure what that means, it's just a bit bigger than the double magpouches, maybe a triple size? Why not just call it that though.
Then 2 smoke grenade pouches, 2 frag grenade pouches, 2 pistol magpouches, an admin pouch (which is missing the flap on the small pocket), an LMG
100rd pouch and a 8rd UGL pouch.
And a utility pouch, waterbottle pouch and first aid pouch.
And a "Field Pack" for the GSR gasmask with a bit of documentation.

Would love to see pics of the armor if you can!

Ugh, Michel at it again with the Warrior stuff, I've even been asked now why I collect it eventhough it's not really that much in use in British forces. Well it's actually part of my Dutch collection,
since they use pretty much everything
So here I go again, a WAS forward opening admin pouch, and a green Gen.2 commander's pouch.
And today I found this Bristol armor (British made for German use, judging by the plate's labels), including 2 different plates. 1 Covered with foam, and another thinner one that isn't.
And also a PLCE 1985 righthand magazinepouch, and a nylon 58 pattern compass pouch.
And a set of old gen Revision Sawfly protective glasses with a full set of lenses and a quite luxurious pouch, in comparison to the one I normally see.

More British kit again!
Mk1 CBA in Sparse DDPM upgraded to Mk2 standard with regular DDPM parts.
1972 Pattern backpack without frame but with partial shoulderstraps, looks to be unit-marked. 1 Of 3 I found at a shop.
PLCE90 stuff, belt, late type magazine pouch, shovel carrier, late type gasmask bag (different beltloop closure).
Arktis C111 trousers in Dutch DPM.
British DPM "crap hat" from the 90's with a rank sewn on, and a green beret. Rest not British.
One more Aertex jungle shirt, this one with a readable tag.
ECW Parka liner.
Warrior triple 40mm pouch with old MOLLE straps, rest unrelated.
Big P44(?) mapcase.
DPM HM Supplies lefthand magazine pouch, green roll for a cleaningkit or something?, khaki bandoleer, and 3 coupled DPM Arktis utility pouches.
DPM inner and outer ECW mittens.

I love the sparse 7th Brigade set you posted last July!! Great that someone is still posting.... I really ought to get over to the Gulf War kit guide thread and post some more gear.
For some reason some of your pictures are loading as massive sizes and I'm unable to scroll across to see all of them.

Yeah I have identified the problem afterwards, but I'm too lazy to reupload or repost it all
It has to do with the menu for uploading the photos, there's a dropdown thing to determine the width in pixels, going with no limit makes them the original size, so they turn out gigantic. I'll try to remember not doing that again!
And thanks! I quite like this forum as it deals with gear from many nations. Other forums I'm a member of only deal with certain groups of nations, and others lump many together in just an internatoinal section, so to me this seems like the forum with the most diverse gear I know of

I will also try and remember that in future. Unfortunately I've already done an extensive series of posts in an attempt to revive the Gulf War Kit ID thread, some of which are rather large and I can't edit them. At least it's possible to click on and see them in Servimage. Hopefully a few people will find them of use....

And yet again some more stuff I found.
70's Made tropical DPM trousers.
Early 80's type Waterproof smock. Earlier than the type marked with PVC on the label since this has snap buttons along the zipper instead of the velcro on the later type.
SASS made Desert DPM "SAS" windproof parka.
And the last part, which I like the most eventhough all buttons have been removed.
An early DPM "SAS" windproof parka, the label is not readable in the pic, but in the right lighting I can just make out Size 4 and part of the A/78 type contract code, so it's at least earlier than 1979.
