Time for more strange stuff!
But first a simple beret of a guards unit rom the 80's.
And a Welsh guards beret badge, also an older type.
And then the strange stuff. A trials P58 webbing made out of nylon. Also known as 1958 pattern mk2. Sadly some parts are missing.
And an Arktis camelbak in Desert camo.

Time for some new bits of gear again.
First an SAS droploop AR15 magazinepouch.
Then a very late type Combat Body Armour Mk2, I call it the 3rd type as it seems to be the 3rd major variation.
2 Warrior fastmag pouches, sadly missing the attachment strips but I'll fabricate something.
Then a pair of GS combat gloves, this time the late type without knucklepad.
And another SAS droploop pouch, the escape and evasion pouch.

Very true, which is why I've delayed this project for a very long time, only now I start to find some parts of it. I also have the knifepouch on the way right now

Some more British kit again, including 1 very weird lot, which I'll post first.
USMC Scalable Plate Carrier which has allegedly been used by a British guy.
Just the British flagpatch, Warrior radiopouch and the brighter green single opentop magpouch are British, the rest is not.
The guy has added a lot of stuff to the vest though, Shitty padding around the shoulders Condor sideplatepouches with unknown brand
steel sideplates, a number of Condor magpouches, a tourniquet within a shoulderstrap, a Blackhawk sling which has been made 1-point
with an S-karabiner, a black strap that can be pulled out of the MOLLE straps that can then be used as 2 draghandles instead of just the
handle integrated on the vest, and some comms wires have been internally routed through the vest's cover, entering at the left shoulder
and exiting at the left side just above the radiopouch, a small mic is located at the top corner of the flagpatch, and a push-to-talk button
hangs at the center of the chest.
It also came with both US ESAPI plates and Eagle's plasticized manual.
Then some oldgen Warrior magpouches (The TT grenadepouch is of course not British). I didn't know that the singles and doubles were
different in terms of removable flaps on the double pouch.
And another part of the SAS webbing, a knife pouch.
A modular DPM utilitypouch that might be made by Kombat, the rest isn't British.
And lastly a random Mk7 water bottle without cap and a P44 compasspouch.

Yeah I'm very(!!) happy with that vest, already with the integrated softarmor intact and the hard plates with it, but also the personal touches. There were no other bidders and I doubt anyone else actually saw what it was. With the photos the seller used it looked more like some airsoft-thing

Moar kit!
Black Horse bag, no idea what for, and an Arktis pouch.
DDPM boonie hat from the 1st Gulf War.
DDPM S95 trousers.
Kombat UK DPM smock, Dutch used.
Arktis C113 sniper trousers, modified by removal of straps, post-2009 version.
Arktis C130 oldgen trousers, pre-2009 at least.
DDPM Lightweight Combat FR shirt, is this a vehicle crewman thing?

Found another Arktis smock, this time an oldgen B220 sniper smock in Dutch DPM.
A rollpin belt made out of an old load strap, SAS drop loop altimeter pouch.
A book about British webbing, don't let the title fool you into thinking it's just about P44 stuff, P55 and SAS webbings are also shown in there.
Tantalus trousers, Lightweight Mk2 (modified).
A Mk6 helmet, used and modified by a Dutch marine in the mid-90's, it has a Schuberth chinstrap assembly.
A green Warrior large utility pouch, old type MOLLE straps, and a Warrior Coyote Tan dumppouch.
Waterproof MVP trousers made by Berghaus, slightly different than the "normal type" MVP trousers from earlier in the thread.
Another snow camo backpack cover, earlier than my other one so it'll replace it.
Folding map cover made by Black Horse, used by a Dutch marine and stil lincludes a map of a part of Scotland.
Possibly British made backpack cover, no idea if issue or commercial. The same Dutch marine bought it there and used it.
Arktis M171 chestrig, oldgen in US Woodland camo.
CQC compression bag, came with a Norwegian M94 sleeping bag used by the same Dutch marine again.

A few things again, first an AC902 helmet.
GS gaiters in green and DPM.
A later type GS gaiters that doesn't have the straps below the boots, and GS gaiters Mk2.
PLCE85 utility pouch and round flap LH magazine pouch. So happy with these, now I'll need the shovelpouch and gasmaskbag to make it at least a "complete"webbing.
Markings are sadly unreadable on the photos, in real life they look a bit better.
And lastly a Virtus STV body armor with softarmor inside and with sideplate pouches.

More Virtus stuff, and more is on the way still.
First a battlebelt with Y-yoke, it's the first type before the Rev. B type came, and a UGL pouch, and a random utilitypouch that came with it, no idea if it's even British, but it's for sure commercial.
Then some DDPM Lightweight combat FR trousers, apparently for heli pilots but have seen limited use with infantry by those that could acquire them in whatever way.
Anther Virtus part, the Source 3L Rider hydration pack, and an MTP winterhat, and a, Arktis Dutch DPM notepad cover with Dutch unit embroided.
Then another older Arktis vest, this Dutch DPM one looks more to the actual M171 cut than the previously posted Woodland one, though that one is earlier and they might have
changed the cut inbetween generations, either that or the Woodland one is actually another model I don't know.
This one also came with some small Dutch stuff in the pockets and a small knife.

Checking in after a break, and congratulations on the trials PLCE pouches. The utility pouch is IMO the hardest bit of all to find. I am sure the date will be 1985 and the maker will be CQC, which is the Chelsea Quilt Company. The trials e-tool pouches come up on ebay fairly regularly. There's a seller called double-ugly who had a large batch of them; he doesn't have any listed at present but it might be worth messaging him in case he has any left.
This is my set. It took quite some time to find all the pieces in this condition.

Wow, that set is mint! That's a feat considering almost all parts seem almost impossible to find, at least from a Dutch guy's point of view. I never expected to even find the yoke or belt within a number
of years, but I can't imagine how difficult it'd have to be to find all the parts in that condition.
And thanks, I was very happy to find out it was actually a utility pouch like I hoped, instead of a second water bottle pouch. I have seen the shovelpouches offered by him before but I couldn't remember
the seller's name for the life of me, so I guess I'll shoot him a message.
And here's some more new stuff I got.
Virtus instruction manual (didn't expect this to have almost 200 pages!!!), Osprey Mk4 armor manual, Mk7 helmet comfort pads manual.
Virtus MTP utility pouch that apparently has the QR-buckle upside down compared to any other I've seen, Virtus MTP medical pouch, Virtus DWD.
Late type DDPM Kestrel body armor cover for use with Osprey plates.
MTP PCS warm weather combat jacket.
Virtus MTP 45L Commander's daysack.
Arktis helmet cover in Dutch DPM, Dutch used.

More Virtus stuff again! And more.
Virtus shoulder and upper arm protectors set, lower back protector (inserts into the battlebelt), and a single opentop magpouch.
Virtus NVG counterweights with pouch.
Virtus Hydration sidepouch, Camelbak bladder unrelated.
MTP PCS warm weather combat trousers.
And then something that's UK made but for Dutch SF use, which it even says on the label of the vest itself.
And a bunch of different pouches. If anyone has more other pouches than these and is willing to sell them then please send me a message.
And some old SAS droploop webbing stuff. Shoulder braces, SLR magpouch, Armalite magpouch and another E&E pouch.

Thanks, same here. It's quite a nice system with the interchangable panels. MOLLE must have been ruled out as the snaps would corrode quite fast with the vests being meant for aquatic use, and would come in contact with salt water a lot.
There are no exposed metal parts on the vest and most of the pouches, the snaps on some are actually completely plastic, only the zipper on the black watertight pouch is partly metal.
I also have a panel on the way to bolt a holster on, as seen in some of the reference photos, then it'll be quite nicely filled up already

New finds!
2 Oldgen Warrior Assault Systems pouches, of which I hadn't seen this double pistolmagpouch type before.
Virtus helmet with visor, mandible and 1st type MTP cover.
Iturri dismounted combat gloves and a DPM MVP hat.
Late type DDPM boonie hat with neckflap.
Karrimor SF cold wet weather boots.
Virtus pelvic protector tier 2, and MTP boonie hat.

1 More bit for the ISPL vest has turned up, it attached to the right shoulder with the snaps on the pad, loops over the shoulder and then holds a sort of wire-ladder carried
by the first person to climb onto a ship or something, who then lowers the ladder for the rest to come up.
The other 2 things are unrelated.
Virtus MTP kneepads.
Virtus MTP nape protector for the helmet.

More stuff, after some of these came I could finally take pics of a complete Virtus loadout.
Virtus Collar protection.
Assorted patches, the subdued Scottish flag was actually a wrong delivery, so a freebie!
And then an Arktis Desert camo helmet cover, same as the DPM one before but then without a hole for an NVG shroud cut in front.

Desert camo para patch
Don't know about the triple pouch but I think I remember seeing it mentioned as British somewhere.
PLCE90 medical sidepouch.
Strange rubberish unknown holster, might be British judging by the buckle that also appears on P72 webbing.
Mint P44 canteenpouch.
DPM hydration pouch without bladder, most likely British commercial, maybe trial?
Scott Panorama Pursuit goggles as I've seen on British soldiers before.
Black ISPL legpanel.
Arktis S692 green ghillie, Dutch Marine Corps SF issue.
