Unfortunately those are library photos to help identification. I still serach for an example myself.
I should have made it clear that they were only images lifted from the internet

Nice selection. The green one with short sleeves is a distinctive design.

yes, I know. I think green is a private purchase. I bought these and those from 1949 in the same lot.

Re: my belgian collection
I am guessing a 60mm to 40mm filter adaptor.... Looks like 40mm male to 60mm female.... it is more normal to see 60mm male to 40 mm female.
The one shown possibly allows British, American or Danish 60 mm filter to M-51 mask 40mm female thread??

NATO NBCW Mask Filters
I believe there was a move in the mid 1980s to try and standardize the NBCW Mask filters within NATO, or at least have it so that at least each member nation was using the same thread and mount diameter.

I tried the connector on my belgian filter from the 80's and it fits. But why would they use that connector if it also fits without it.

Your boot laces are tied differently! Would they pass inspection?

Re: my belgian collection
FALO gunners rig over M1971 webgear. Clearly armed with the FALO. not the model D.

Although often referred to as a BAR belt or FN Model D belt, I have only seen photographic evidence of it being used by troops carrying the heavy Barreled FAL (the FALO.)
The FN 30-06 model D although being based on and developed from the M1918 A2 BAR is not really to be described as a BAR, because the quick change barrel, and easier stripping than the BAR plus dual rates of fire means it should be viewed as a weapon in its own right.
The model D was far easier to strip because it had a hinged butt and the return spring was removed from the piston slide assembly and placed in the butt. After the removal of the trigger assembly, the piston slide the bolt assembly could be removed.
The model D also differed from the BAR M1918 A1 in having dual rates of fire using an escarpment mechanism with a powerful clock spring, not the buffer system of the M1918A2 BAR.
The Model D was a post war developed weapon not much related to the WW2 Use BAR
