Re: my belgian collection
Thanks for those photos, I hadn't really come across many Model D photos, with the belt, I am more familiar with the belt supporting the FALO.

I can't remeber where I found this image, whoever owns this complete set fills me with envy..... Maybe one day, I know where there is a model D not 12 miles from me but I haven't managed to do a deal, and probably never will....

Re: my belgian collection
and one of troops with Mod.D but no sign of a Mod.D belt?

Mod.DA1 was 7.62 x 51mm not 30-06 version.

Re: my belgian collection
Nice. I have 2 such belts. One is darker than the other and also show some differences. Would I have the model belt that was seen in the video? What also means that she has been in production for a long time? Or is it Dutch, because the buckles of their webbing were also black.

Re: my belgian collection
Apart from colour variations There are actually three major versions of this belt, one with with four Pockets, and one six pockets all of which will hold magazines and there is also a belt with 5 pockets , 4 for magazines and one for something smaller.
What should be in the smaller pocket I do not know. Possible gun cleaning kit? Possibly the loader for stripping rounds out of a charger when refilling the magazine?

Re: my belgian collection
I know. But I was talking about different variations on this belts. Like different coller and sutch stuff.

Can you confirm the normal contents of the small pocket on the five pocket belt?

Re: my belgian collection
I don't think the colour variations mean anything in particular. From what I have seen, these belts seem to use a range of different styles of hardware, and the canvas also comes in different shades. I think that these are probably variations among manufacturers that don't really affect the functionality of the item. We see the same range of shades, hardware, and minor details in Belgian 37 pattern webbing more generally.

Re: my belgian collection
Great news gentlemen! Finally I found out what the bag is for. My friend found the explanation in his manual. On the picture it's in Dutch, but I will translate it again in English below

"The belt is made of webbig and is adjustable.
It shows five pattern holders that close by means of a push-button.
The four large holders can each contain two chargers, the fifth includes repair equipment from the bag of spare parts."

Nice condition on that one - often the white paint is in bad shape on these MP or RP helmets.

Re: my belgian collection
yes, it's in a very good shape, I think it's used by the Aiforce MP's, becauee I havn't found a picture of groundforce MP's wearing one without a black or red line on it

Re: my belgian collection
Yes, this one didn't realy aged well, but still a nice example. I think they where painted by the soldier/unite itsellf (I think there's bleu paint under my example) and in a factory. The white webbing they had is also blacoed by themself, like in the British army.
