Very nice views of uniform mounted insignia. You know I compared a for sure saddam era airborne patch (eagle head) with the current Iraq airborne sleeve patch and are absolutely indistinguishable from each other, I had to make a small ink marking on the saddam era one so I wouldn't get them mixed up.
Amazes me, you think the first thing they'd do is redesign insignia to distance themselves from the Hussein regime.
The other interesting point, on a lot of the current iraqi army pics no uniformity as to where the eagle heads face, ie to the front or the back.
