According to the previous owner, bought in the 80s from a military surplus store in Finland. It was sold as a pilot jacket, but maybe it could be a motorcycle jacket. Lots of adjustment/tightening straps.

    There are no markings visible.

I've tried to search for something similar on Google, but I haven't found anything. Somehow it occurs to me that it could be Swedish, but that has not helped the research further.

I suspect that the snap button closure on the front is not original and the front of the jacket has been modified somehow.

    Thanks for all the help!

The material looks French or Polish to me. Unfortunately, it is so heavily modified it's difficult to say unless you already know of this type of jacket. I do not Wink

I do not think it is Swedish. I had a set for a period of time. Very warm! Here are some pictures from idiots who believe fashion has to be expensive even if the item itself is not:

It appears to be an extremely butchered Swedish Livpäls m/1944, based on the shell and those large, brown, dome-shaped two-hole buttons, as well as the few surviving original seams.
The original linings for them are super thick sheepskin, but that one looks like they either shaved it down or cut out the original and sewed in another thinner type.
They were usually an olive color, but also white or sometimes this weird sort of brown/tan color that almost looks pink at certain fade levels, as seen on mine here.

    Not yet, but almost. Smile

I found out that garment which has been butchered is likely to be old Swedish army dispatch rider's motorcycle trousers(or probably two pairs of them) like these:Any help identifying this pilot or motorcycle jacket? 20200217-58_1080x

I found out about it through this discussion:

hi, I can clarify for you. so what this is someone took a pair of pants issued to the MC-Ordonnans (swedish dispatch riders) in the 1950's and turned them into a jacket. on the sourced picture above that pocket on the forearm is where it is on the knee. people did these for the leather and gray cotton variants with nonremovable sherling liners for..fun I guess? the buttons are for leather suspenders. as for a maker? well, there was Oljon, Ö.S.B Örebro militärt utrustningar, Mats Larsson or Öje skinnbeklänad, but they all shared the same wool blanket liner so I can't say.

I could still try to find someone from Sweden who can confirm it, because another point of view was that it would have been some sort of experimental model, but I dont think that it is correct at least in this case.

I have owned a Swedish army motorcycle jacket and a several livpäls sheepskin coats and indeed my the first thought about this jacket was that it has something the same. For example, just the buttons. But then I didn't  find any Swedish similar jacket, so I wasn't sure anymore...
