    Picked this up today from the surplus shop. I'd been debating getting it for some time now, and finally caved. The cover's not in as good of condition as I was looking for, but better than some of the others they had in stock.

    Inside it says

    86/87 +
    M-7

    No idea what these designations are for. I'm guessing a size and date marker of some sort?

    Nice find Ben, looks great with the Woodland cover, so use to seeing pics of desert type covers etc that you can forget how cool they look .......well done Smile

    The numbers are the dates I believe...the M-7 is the size(medium). What do the guts look like?

    need any other covers? I got a few desert and tan colored, some german ones also that sort of fit

    Thanks guys. I've wanted one for a long time but never got around to getting one. I finally caved and just bought it, since it was on sale.

    I'll post photos of the inside later. The previous user had a cut out foam "donut" to line the inside, actually quite comfortable on the head. lol!
