Freakin nice jacket dude! I have a Zeltbahn that was repaired by the Franz Weck company late in the war. I didn't know they made jackets!

The material was used for a wide range of items. There was also a few variations of it as well. What Steve stumbled upon is one of the rarest of rare items AND it was used by one of the truly "elite" forces of WW2. Which means, Steve has to stop telling people where he lives or one of us is bound to go "shopping" some night

Better not wake the dog LOL !!!
What is really nice as well is it's the 43 pattern with hard edges to the splinter pattern , too bad it was not the Luft pattern , they are very rare !
You guys do know the Splinter is actually much rarer then this one ! too bad it did not still have its original eagle on it !
BTW , I would trade this one for a early East German Amoebatarn set !!!

I've got one of those, I paid $30 for it at a gun show in about 1960. It is Mint, dated 44. I've got a green step in dated 43 or 44? I still need a good condition splinter pattern smock and step in and an SS dot pattern smock and then I'll have all 5. Yeah dream on! I passed the only chance I'll ever have to buy a dot smock in about 1961. No one knew what the deal was with them, but everyone was afraid of it - me included.
