    Hi,
This is a German Flecktarn LBE belt, suspenders, belt, two shovel covers, and a bag. Interesting combo of pouches...just what every combat soldier needs! Two shovels and his breadbag! lol!

It is common to find this type of combination in military surplus store. I saw similar thing but I would buy it if it came with some ammo pouches as well. Web gear is never complete without ammo pouches.

You can find a lot of flecktarn stuff to complete your collection. This website has plenty of flecktarn stuff.

Just to warn you, I believe this site is run by airsofters.

For whatever reason the surplus sets are outfitted with double shovel covers. I bought 3 sets like this almost 10 years ago and that's the way they came straight from my source in Germany (a middle man wholesaler).

There are tons and tons and TONS of non-official pouches available. If you want proven, definite German issue stay away from anything that says "Mil-Tec" or "Sturm". Some of their items are identical to military issue, but are not actual issue. Other things are of their own design and are possibly used unofficially by individuals in the Germany military, though likely they are meant for Airsoft.

Most of the stuff you see for sale are brand new Mil-Tec and STURM stuff. Occasionally legitimate used stuff, like G3 and G36 mag pouches come up for sale, but they are oddly hard to find. Oddball stuff like radio holders, medic pouches, etc. also are hard to find. Sportsmans Guide has P1 (modernized P38) holsters for sale that are used and original. Not too pricey.

Just got a part set that looks German but is all in an olive green-belt,yoke and a buttpack.

All bits have ink stamped markings but cannot make them out.

Whoa... this is an old thread Smile It's a reminder of how things change. When I made the above post 4 years ago it was quite hard to get legitimate G3/G36 pouches. Now they are a dime a dozen.

There are two types of OD kit that was issued prior to Flecktarn. The first is distinctly trials and is so marked. Those are from... er... I think 1986? Then there's a second batch that is effectively the same but has regular marks on it. The Flecktarn stuff is the same as that, but in Flecktarn instead. All three sets had the same OD belt and H-straps, but the very early trials belt buckles had the BW emblem embedded in it.

Only place I could see any mention of Bundy LBE. Date on the butt pack looks like 3-8?

No idea why I bought it but this is what I have---
