Re: Dutch army stippel camo
We [the Dutch] did use in ww2 and Dutch indies post ww2 US CAMO.
After that we did use in the 50,s a look-a-like us patern[pacific]It did look to much xx patern.
In the 80,s we did experiment with some camo types first the flecktarn and dpm and US woodland. And 1 other patern I never did see only did hear about it.
We did end up with Dutch dpm and we call it woodland.Yes where from Holland we invent alot!.
I,m saving for some books 3 volumes then I will give some more info.
Books are 350 the 3.

Will put some comparison pictures later.

Re: Dutch army stippel camo
Nice coverall Jeroen! To me this looks like Belgian cloth, not German cloth. But that is just a guess. Is there a tag anywhere else? My guess is this was made by Seyntex as they made a lot of strange things for various countries in the early 1990s.

That's cool, like before I'm intrigued as I genuinely did know the Dutch used Flectarn...so more info would be very useful, and as Steve said ,maybe this is a Syntex pattern...I found out recently that Syntex made the "Paddy cam",so anythings possible I guess

Re: Dutch army stippel camo
Seyntex makes a lot of the items for Belgians, French, and I think some Dutch. Ireland is one of the others, but I don't know of many more than that.

Re: Dutch army stippel camo
The Dutch had a trail program, and I remember a huge advert in the Telegraaf about it, this camo was TNO tested and they even made a bodywarmer out of it. later on the dutch army didn't follow up with this camo because many soldiers didn't felt manly enough with those small dots, I think therefore we sold the design to the germans?

Re: Dutch army stippel camo
The Germans were first with developing Flecktarn types though.
This kit was called PSU80, and there were quite a few different parts to it.
I have seen photos of the following:
3 Bodywarmer types
3, Maybe 4 trouser types
2 Different neckkerchiefs (triangle and rectangle)
3 Jacket types
Parka hood
3 Parka types
2 Parka liner types
Winter cap
2 Summer cap types
Rain pants
Mittens
Shelter halve with at least some camo parts (only saw a photo of it rolled)
Tank coverall
There's probably even more than this though

Re: Dutch army stippel camo
Wow, that's a lot of variations. I was only aware of the two jackets and two parkas, not the others. I'd love to see more pictures. I'll upload mine in my next post.
Michel, can you confirm who used these uniforms?
