Heres a later issue Crow cap ,
Later DPM , lighter weight fabric and just a neck protector ,
The peak feels like it has a bit of foam in now and not an old copy of the news of the world Laughing

Never seen a UK one in OG I was issued a DPM one at Depot POW Div 1983 that we had to hand in when we were posted, looks like large sizes may of been getting hard to get then maybe??

I do have a new issue one with the later DPM plus the inner is a lot differnt .

Hi twodogs I went throught the Depot POW in 84/85 and we had to hand our crow caps back when we passed out and mine was 6 7/8 so i think they just wanted to keep the crow caps.
I rember hearing that the last issue DPM crow caps have a waterproof stifener ib the peak and no badge grommet on the front.
Going by the following post the MTP crow caps dont have the badge grommet either
