It is a rare camo in china .I am a chinese .I find it more than three years in china mainland but faild.I buy this camo from Japan. In china ,most old soldiers keep it but no one want sell it because it is the memroy of their young time and their own war.Well ,I will show my this camo as soon as possible. As I know ,this is one of collor of 80s camo .In the war of middle 80s there are more than 10 collors camo used in the board war between China and Vietnam. My english is not very good.

Yes ,at that time ,PLA have no camo until 1984 "Laoshan" battle. The first PLA ranger equiped the first camo ,like soveit WWII "amiba" camo ,this reversible aspect like USMC camo and South Korea camo .I rembered PLA find that when middle 80s my country neiberhoud South Korea camo is very good .It colours looks the same as USMC ww2,and Britain DPM CAMO is very interested by PLA.SO this reversible camo one aspect looks like DPM,another looks like USMC CAMOEasy Gee wrote:That camo is very cool,I like the reversible aspect a lot,the "sand" colours reminds me of WW2 USMC camo......unusual find, well done for this haul

Re: Woodland reversible 80's
That kind of camoflage uniform mostly appeared in Market at early times the size very small. Not fit for Westerners. At the time of 90s Japanese was doing the reproduction which the quality was extremely good than Chinese army issue ones.

This is another one that commonly used in 1984-5 Laoshan Conflicts with Vietnamese. The Pattern pretty like the US parachute camoflage camo in Vietnam War

Nice pictures! There are very few pics of PLA wearing this pattern. It is most often seen on North Vietnamese commandoes and sappers. The common opinion is that China made rolls of this material available to the North Vietnamese as war aid during the Vietnam War. I have a PLA set of this pattern picked up in Lhasa (Tibet) in 1986.

Re: Woodland reversible 80's
The Vietnamese were "clever" enough to cut off the US Parachute camo reshaping into their helmet cover.
