Re: 32 Battalion
I see plenty of chest webbing rigs that are obviously aftermarket, specially the ones with DPM camo sewn into the shoulder straps and back of webbing pouches, no idea why someone would use that in the bush? I only spent so much time with the Unit but I have never seen those before, as with the original Camo webbing, also not used a lot perationally as the SADF withdrew to SA not lang after these came to light....

Bomskerf32,
First, thanks for helping this discussion. It's great! Second, I deleted your cellphone number from your post. It is not against the rules to post your number, but it is really not a good idea from a personal security (identity) standpoint. You should only post such information in Private Messages through your forum account or send a personal email.
Just looking out for your online safety

Re: 32 Battalion
This finally came in from surface mail after nearly 5 months.
Here's a dry season camo jacket that barely fits me.

Re: 32 Battalion
Modern Kenyan; you can actually see some of these vests used by the Kenyan special forces deployed to Haiti recently (though not as prevalent as others, as they are phasing it out for more modern vests and armors).
