I have a Woodland bdu jacket with a small EGA on the upper left pocket. It also appears to have strange coloring. I apologize that I dont have a picture. I'm guessing it was used in Grenada, but I dont know for sure.

Hi mate, welcome to the forum! If you don't mind, could you post up an intro in the Introductions section of the forum? It'll help us get to know you better.
If you can provide us with a photo, we might be able to help you make some headway on the jacket.

Re: USMC BDU
It sounds to me like what you have is either an early Woodland BDU or what they call a RDF (Rapid Deployment Force)jacket. If it is an early woodland BDU, it should be made of a heavy-weight material and be non rip-stop. If it is the so called RDF, then it will look very similar to the old Vietnam ERDL pattern jackets just without the slanted pockets. It will be made out of a light weight rip-stop material. Hope this helps!

Looks like Ben is already way ahead of me, I second the intro and picture comments
