It's true that these shirts were sold commercially as the lizard pattern was phased out. But the Portuguese military did and does issue camouflage t-shirts exactly like this. Currently, they issue this t-shirt in DPM (both in green and desert patterns), but the lizard t-shirts had previously been used, at least as far back as the 1970s. I bought a surplus t-shirt and a surplus sweater in Lisbon in 1975 in lizard. These were military surplus, not commercial copies! This was when vast quantities of surplus gear from the colonial campaigns of 1961-74 were still available. I no longer have those, unfortunately -- lost after I moved away from home.

Correct Gubbio. There was T's and sweaters in lizzard pattern issue by OGFE but no more, since the pattern was discontinued in te early 80's when Portuguese Army went for OD like almost all NATO countries. Piety you dont have those with you anymore. They are an hard to find item now, when 20 years ago every fair had someone selling them for cheap.
