    As I have said many times before, I started collecting Iraqi items from Desert Storm around May of 1991. My dad and I would hit Ft. Knox about every two months and Ft. Campbell about once a year. Iraqi stuff used to be plentiful and cheap.

    Tonight, I was helping my dad move some of his collection downstairs and found this Iraqi unit marked bayonet. Somewhere, I have a gas mask bag and Iraqi helmet with the exact same markings. This stuff used to be all over the place. Not anymore.

    Nice find. Romanian Type 1 bayonet for the AKM rifle.

    I brought back about 20 AKM bayonets. Some Russian Type 2's, some Yugoslavian Type 2's, one Tabuk Iraqi Type 2, numerous Romanian ones like yours, and one Iranian G3 bayonet with 10in double sided blade.
