    1 ° model.
Besides being different in tone are the main difference buttonhole on neck shield, to be buttoned to the neck and used as a hood.

    Tag, Genosse!
Say, I'm sorry, but the pictures are too small to tell, are there versions of the strichtarn covers without the buttonholes? All the ones I've ever seen have them, and honestly I don't look too closely at them anymore thinking them all the same. You'd think I'd know better, since one can never say "they NEVER did that" with East German items- there always seems to be an exception to a rule.

BTW....NICE score on the Blumentarn hood/cover! Harder to find than an honest politician!

Duh...I go back and look and it turns out none of my covers have buttonholes. Embarassed However, one is the lighter tone but does not have buttonholes, for what its worth.

    Thanks for your comments friends.
    I answer Soviet_Kazimir:
First of all patience, has cost me much time to find one, I have been fortunate that a colleague has redirected his collection and has removed several things.

    Now Cammobunker:
The corresponding ajales of the first to be manufactured for strichtran, I put the photos larger.

Ah, I see, there are very significant differences in the rear seam width too. I'll have to watch for one with buttonholes now, thank you for the helpful pics!
