    i have this rucksack and it sorta looks like a NATO rucksack but it has this padded shoulder straps and a padded backing and has a brown lining. i looked for any stamps and tags, unfortunately i found nothing. can anyone ID this? thanks!

    Hmmm... I don't know about this specific design, but there are several features which are consistent with US field equipment form the 1950s and 1960s.

    It looks like a mash up of British,US and Australian.

    Far East commercial made. Malaysian camo version of these were issued to the Royal Hong Kong Regiment for a time (1980s), these may have preceded it. A lot of their equipment was sourced from local commercial manufacturers.
