I was told it was a private purchase item. I'm pretty sure I've seen photos of French special forces or GIGN wearing these parkas and pants. I could be wrong.

I have seen ads for the trousers but not seen any jackets other than the one I have. Porex was an early alternative to Gore tex but did not last.

These sets were available on Ebay France some years ago but in very limited quantities just because there are not military issues but private orders by 13 RDP (LRRP para regiment)
