a 1974 Airborne (VDV) soldiers field uniform ... very interesting thing is, it was made in Soviet Georgia, City of Tbilisi ... I haven't seen soviet times made non camouflage uniforms from there before.

Thanks Sal. Yes this vest has got a rather unusual coloration, yet I like it a lot. And yes my Afghanka set collection is growing as is my "vsr-93" collection. Just got my hands in another 94 VSR set off a guy in Croatia. I will post it here once it has arrived.

and here it is ... the new fully matching 1994 "VSR-93" in size 54/4:
the most interesting about it is the sleeve pockets close with a sinlge button and not with velcro. I haven't got this on any of my other sets.

Interesting never saw such button-closure variant before. Very cool and looks very fresh.

yes indeed. I have a few different "vsr-93" sets and none has this button closure. Very interesting for me, too. Yes it seems to be out of storage, it still has closed button holes and one culd find a few thread cut offs in between the folded trousers and jacket. It has got a brand new appearance overall.
I am very happy about it ...

As long as there are pants in the Plum camouflage, there are also Amoeba. They were, I changed them

Privet ... ha, yes exactly, I might succeed with it.
As I learned yesterday, this, my jacket, is actually a NOCH-91M type jacket, so need to get the matching NOCH-91M Type trousers ... unfortunately so far I only saw green or grey kamysh variants (as camo variants) of NOCH-91M Versions available on the market, lately.
I will get on searching further, maybe I can find a pair of trousers in KKO pattern somewhere ...

The cut is like the so called "Mabuta Uniforms" and similar to VV MVDs Noch91 cut.

Thanks A. It is definitely unused. The colors are still really vibrant. It is a great piece in my collection. I like the cut of the uniform a lot and am a great fan of the barvikha 'VSR-93' camo anyway.
