I can't help thinking...
"It's ONE color!! How hard is it to make it the SAME color?!?"

Tell that the guys from the clothing-procurement section.
RAL7013(browngrey) should be the only colour. But you can find everything from solid
grey over washed-out green to chocolatebrown. Its just ridiculous .

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
On the plus side, Austrian military clothing is some of the best in the world in terms of overall quality. I wear Austrian boots almost every day and KAZ 75 winter trousers very consistently this time of year. I love both so much that I have duplicates to replace the ones I am wearing when they are worn out. Great stuff.

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
Yes thats true, many pieces are very well made.
The new KAZ 03 gore tex jackets for example are also made by a
company that makes expensive high-tech skiing clothing. And nothing beats
the lightweight DAZ 75 boots or Segeltuchschuhe made by Steinkogler or Alpschuh. My
favourite piece to wear everyday is one of my fleecejackets. The probably most ,,lost,, item during conscripttime!

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
Alex,
When does one have too many Austrian fleece liners/jackets ???? ....
There is room for 5 more if you use a few nails..
Or you can always send a couple to me...

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
Well you never can have enough of them.
Just wanted to show that you nearly can't find 3 with the same color, even when
they come frome the same producer(the 4 on the right are all made in Hungary).
The coolest piece of gear the Austrian army has.
But only 4 of them are mine. The other 2 are my brothers.
6 in a line just looks better.
Will look for one in your size.

Another KAZ 57 snapped button parka with no repairs
and modified rank insignia loops like the one from the KAZ 59 fishtail parkas.
Experimental snapped parka with interesting name tape.
