OK...I have been wondering why does Peru have a desert camouflage uniform? I cannot find evidence of them being in Iraq or Afghanistan? Does anyone have any clue why they have a desert pattern? Does Peru feature a desert?

The only reason I can come up with is they are doing missions in the Sudan, Congo, Liberia & some other place in Africa, anyone else have any ideas?

Peru has its own deserts , there are higher up like similar to where I live , but even more desolate and higher in altitude.
