As I understand it there was no DPM shirt (jacket, combat) in the pre-S95 patterns of DMP with the exception of Tropicals. My question is, for the uniforms prior to S95 would this mean that the DPM trousers were worn with the GS shirt with the smock over that? Thanks!

yes and before the shirt GS was introduced we wore the shirt Khaki Flannel or KF shirt allso known as a shirt hairy mary

Nothing like a scratchy wool shirt in the Sub-tropics. So everything up to S95 was KF or GS; that's a load off, I just thought I was looking in the wrong places and never coming up with the shirts. Much appreciated!
