Hi all,
I managed to find me a piece of the lovely San Marco Battalion shirt. I had my eyes on that for some time now. From time to time there are some pieces that show up in the Italian ebay, but usually they cost around 50 euros + shipping and in 99% of the cases the sellers don’t send them outside Italy…
I was lucky to find one in a flea market in Rome last May for a mere 35 euros...
For me it's a very interresting piece of camo, because it looks good, it works very well in the Southern Europe and it has some unique features for an at least 10 years old design.
It has pockets on both upper part of the sleeves
It has pen slots on the front pockets
Internal pockets on the chest which close with velcro
It has a rank sleeve on the chest and
The collar can be buttoned in an upright position.
Cheers, Vaszi.
P.S. i am not sure if the pocket configuration is original or they were made by the previous owner (hint, the lower and upper pockets seem the same and the double patches seem odd...) but it still looks cool...
