Re: My unknowns
I put that in my unknowns, because I don't no if it is an Iraqi garment or a fake
The red triangle patch is tipical Iraqi, but I think the camouflage pattern and material is English
The garment is tailored and the size is XS

Re: My unknowns
That print is a quiet aggressive DPM print that I've only ever seen on British SAS smocks and the odd Windproof but mainly the unwired hooded SAS smock.vonstuck wrote:

Re: My unknowns
The cut is consistent with Iraqi even if the Republican Guards badges are faked. And of course DPM is a common Iraqi camouflage pattern. Maybe a British contractor used leftover cloth from making hoods, windproofs, or other items?

Re: My unknowns
Same garment
Finaly, I put this shirt in fake category of my website because the cut of the garment is after 2003 and the patch before 2003

Re: My unknowns
Hello
Thank you for the pictures
The drawing of the pattern of my jacket is different than the current Philippines navy tiger stripe
I am almost sure my jacket is Philippines but older than we can see on these pictures
Maybe 80 years period
Gilles

Re: My unknowns
The Philippines set I had came to me from the late 1990s and is in straight BDU cut. So I agree with you Gilles that yours is probably 1980s or early 1990s.

Re: My unknowns
Notice there are only 10 stars, so it is not the EU flag. Here is an explanation of it (used 1995-2007):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_the_Federation_of_Bosnia_and_Herzegovina
And to be correct, it is for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the non-Serb portion of the state of Bosnia-Herzegovia.
